Sister Etta Maskell

After the sad passing of Sister Etta Maskell, Sister Bethney Kelly IPWM of Gosport St Mary's Chapter No 419 provided some further information.

Sister Maskell was a Past Worthy Matron of Corby Thistle Chapter No 382. She moved to the south coast and was made Honorary Member of Portsmouth No 468, Cowplain St Wilfreds 626 as well as Gosport St Mary's No 419. Etta was a very active member who still visited the Northern Chapters for many years, she had no hesitation in providing help and support to many Worthy Matrons and was renowned for her baking, knitting and crafting skills. Many members still have treasured items made by Sister Maskell. She was much loved and will be sadly missed.

Thank you Sister Kelly for the information.  Webmaster
